Coko Mayuko Nakashima has been in the wellness practice for over 14 years. It has taken her all over the world, from Japan to Australia, the United States, South Africa, to Canada, where she currently runs her professional wellness practice in Vancouver. She is a certified Rolfer™, a certified Craniosacral Therapist, a Certified Kita Sound Healing Therapist, a yoga teacher, and a reflexologist. She is passionate about rejuvenating ease and breath of life and works with both humans and animals.
She is an instructor for the Ubuntu Touch Project in Cape Town, South Africa, which is implementing Africa’s first financially sustainable, wellness-focused education model for low-income women. Coko is also a founder of a non-profit peace project Touch Sound.org and facilitates to everyone around the world.
In addition to all of this, she surfs, plays the hand pan, teaches yoga and movement classes, and, when she has a bit of time left over, she manages Type Camp Japan.
I am always interested in connecting people around the world and bringing joy to life. My role at Type Camp is to share my home country with new creative people, and I learn so much each time.
