Martin Jackson is one of Canada’s foremost calligraphers, he has lectured and taught across Canada, the United States, Australia, Europe, and Japan. He has been commissioned for calligraphic pieces for the British royal family, for the Pope, and even for the wedding reception of Bill Gates (yes, really!).
Martin was born in Sheffield, England and emigrated to Canada in 1966. He has been a designer and calligrapher for nearly 60 years, but he’s more than just a letters man – he also collects and rears butterflies and moths and is a wild man on his cross-country skis.
